Czech International Amateur Championship 2025 inviting players to Mariánské Lázně

The top international amateur tournament organized by the Czech Golf Federation, the Czech International Amateur Championship 2025 presented by Raiffeisenbank, will be held from July 30 to August 2 at the Royal Golf Club in Mariánské Lázně. Czech and foreign players must register by July 22 at noon.

The Czech International Amateur Championship (CIAC) consistently maintains its status as the country’s most important and prestigious amateur tournament with international participation. Players from dozens of countries regularly compete in the CIAC, often including elite European and world amateurs. The tournament is included in the WAGR (World Amateur Golf Ranking) calendar, and the results are counted in the world amateur ranking.

This year, the tournament will be hosted by the oldest golf course in the Czech Republic, the iconic Royal Course in Mariánské Lázně, which will be celebrating 120 years since its founding. As in previous years, this year at the Czech International Amateur Championship in Mariánské Lázně, you can expect an outstanding competitive atmosphere, supported by the spectators and great performances by foreign and Czech amateur stars.

Matouš Zach has also been looking forward to coming to Mariánské Lázně ever since winning the Czech International Amateur Championship title last year: “It's great that next year we will be playing in Mariánské Lázně, because, like Karlovy Vary, it is a course that suits me perfectly. So I'm already looking forward to defending my title,“ the new champion confided immediately after the tournament win last year."

The tournament is open to amateur players of all ages who meet the HCP limit of 3 (for women) or 2.5 (for men). It will be played in the traditional four-round stroke play format, with a cut after two rounds.
